Thyme is a scheduling service operated by DMTTR LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain — no jargon.
Who this covers
Two kinds of people use Thyme: managers who create an account to build schedules, and employees who are added to a schedule by their manager. This policy applies to both.
Information we collect
- Account information — for managers who sign up: name, email, business name, and login credentials (handled by our authentication provider).
- Employee information — entered by a manager: name, job role, and optionally an email address and mobile number used to send schedules.
- Schedule data — shifts, hours, time off, and store closures your business creates.
- Usage and device data — basic technical logs (e.g. browser type, pages visited) to keep the service running and secure.
How we use information
- To provide the service — building, publishing, and sharing schedules.
- To notify employees of their schedule by email and, where opted in, by text message.
- To secure, maintain, and improve Thyme.
- To respond to support requests and comply with the law.
Text messaging
If your manager enables text notifications, we use your mobile number only to send schedule-related messages after you opt in. We do not sell or rent your number. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our SMS Messaging Policy for the full opt-in and opt-out details.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate Thyme — for example our hosting, database, email, and text-message vendors — under contracts that limit them to that purpose.
- Your business — schedule and contact information you provide is visible to the managers and owners of the business you belong to.
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your business uses Thyme and as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to legal obligations.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out of SMS.
- Ask your manager to remove your contact information, or contact us directly.
- Request a copy or deletion of your information by emailing support@thymehq.com.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to it.
Children
Thyme is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice through the service.
